The Italy under-21 international only moved to San Siro in the January transfer window and spent the remainder of the season on an existing loan with Catanzaro.
But Cisse's opening weeks with Ruben Amorim's side have been highly productive since scoring twice in his opening five Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri.
His latest outing in the Europa League against Salzburg, however, has taken things to another level as he racked up a hat-trick that etched his name into the record books.
Cisse is not only the youngest-ever Italian to score three times in a European competition fixture but also has emulated Milan royalty in doing so.
The 19-year-old is the club's first player to net a hat-trick in a continental match since the legendary Pippo Inzaghi plundered against Deportivo A Coruña in 2002.
Has Casa Milan unearthed another generational talent?
