Olympique Lyonnais are without key centre-forward Lois Openda as they prepare to host Crystal Palace in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday evening.
He is the major absentee that Lyon and Paulo Fonseca must contend with. Rémi Himbert would seem the natural replacement, however, the youngster is currently out of the frame, with Fonseca calling for him to up his game. Khalis Merah may instead play as a false #9. Pavel Sulc is another contender to play in this role.
OL are also without left-backs Nicolas Tagliafico and Mohamed Ouédraogo. The latter sustained an knee ligament injury earlier this month and is set to a lengthy spell on the sidelines. It is Abner, the only remaining recognised left-back, who is set to start against the Eagles.
Lyon likely line-up v Crystal Palace
Dominik Greif; Abner, Ruben Kluivert, Felix Bacher, Zachary Athekame; Corentin Tolisso, Tyler Morton, Noah Nartey; Keito Nakamura, Khalis Merah, Ernest Nuamah. (L’Éq)
