Amad Diallo has issued a damning six-word reaction following Manchester United's 2-0 defeat against Atletico Madrid via social media.

United found themselves 1-0 down after 47 seconds when Pablo Barrios converted past Senne Lammens.

Ademola Lookman wrapped up all three Champions League points for Atletico in the 79th minute, shortly after Leny Yoro had been shown a controversial red card by Swedish referee Glenn Nyberg.

United centre-back Lisandro Martinez has rocked the club with his explosive post-match interview on Amazon Prime.

The Argentina international criticised the club's hierarchy, including Director of Football Jason Wilcox, for failing to strengthen the squad sufficiently in the summer.

> "Tonight it is easy to [blame] the coach [Michael Carrick], easy to say the players but also we have to see other areas," he said.

The Liverpool legend has issued a strong reaction following Lisandro Martinez's comments about the Manchester United hierarchy

Martinez's post-match comments have overshadowed an eye-opening reaction from another Manchester United player.

Amad replaced Marcus Rashford in the 66th minute but failed to prevent his side from slumping to their fourth defeat of the season.

The 24-year-old winger posted a photo of himself from the match on Snapchat, alongside the caption: "Fing disgrace, I have no words."

While it's unclear whether Amad was referring to United's performance, the decision to send off Yoro or something else, many fans are viewing it as another public dig at the club's board.

One supporter wrote on X (Twitter): "Keep it coming lads, expose the lot of them." Another commented: "I beg they all come out and call out the club."

A third posted: "The players are losing their heads. Everything is crumbling."

While a fourth fan added: "They're downing tools, man."

Tuesday's result piles further pressure on the shoulders of Carrick, who has guided United to just two wins out of nine matches so far this season, against Ipswich Town and Sabah.

The Red Devils are currently languishing 13th in the Premier League table and face another tough test this weekend away at Leeds United.

United then travel to Como next week, with the aim of getting their Champions League campaign back on track.

Carrick's men currently sit seventh in the Champions League table but will end the week lower down depending on Wednesday night's results.

> "I don't see the confidence as being an issue," Carrick insisted after the defeat to Atletico. "I think to come here and respond [to conceding late against Spurs] and take the ball like we did and control spells and create chances, the confidence is there. > > "There's the big disappointment of not winning, of course, but what a great game [on] Sunday to prepare for. It's a fantastic game for us, for the club, for the history, for the supporters. Everything to do with the game is a great game so we'll be ready for that."
