Tottenham 0-0 Everton RECAP: Toothless Spurs fail to score again - taking goal drought to SIX HOURS - as Toffees hold Roberto De Zerbi's big-spenders to stalemate

· DailyMail

Re-live Daily Mail Sport's live coverage for the latest updates from the 3pm kick-offs in the Premier League, which includes Liverpool vs Fulham and Chelsea vs Hull - plus Spurs vs Everton.

Right then! That's it from us here.

Thanks so much for your company throughout. It was a slog at times, I know.

But fear not. That isn't the last game today - the champions are in action.

Harry is covering that, and you can follow along by clicking below.

Until next time, all! Cheers!

It wasn't that bad... OK, it was.

James Tarkowski, Everton captain, Sky Sports:

> It literally cannot be worse than what we've just seen...

The champions are back in action, travelling north to take on Sunderland. A tough game, but one they will fancy their chances in for sure.

Harry is covering that one, with kick-off scheduled for 8pm. You can follow by clicking here or below.

Jamie Redknapp, former Tottenham midfielder, Sky Sports:

> Here's the current table, then, following that draw. > > I just can't believe that, with so many costly players on the pitch - Marmoush, Solanke, Savio, Kudus, Maddison... they can't score! > > They linger in 17th. > > It's nearly seven hours for Spurs now without a Premier League goal. It is something that is clearly not good enough and needs fixing - that's up to Roberto De Zerbi. > > Still, at least they aren't conceding goals, I suppose. > > Plenty to ponder for them, but a decent point for Everton.

A chance for Everton to nick this! Hackney and Grealish link up well on the left and Dewsbury-Hall curls it over via a deflection. Luckily for Spurs, that corner is headed wide.

The crowd have goaded Spurs into going long - not sure they need that, but hey ho.

And that's your lot. Four games, zero goals for Spurs. Ouch.

Spurs continue to plug away, but there are just no openings.

There are probably few worse teams to play when you're in this sort of rut, to be fair.

OOH! The closest Spurs have come. Pickford gives it away to Maddison and Bergvall ends up with the ball on the edge of the box. He looks to bend it into the far corner, and England's No1 gets down to save.

In coms the corner. Pickford slaps it away, Tel wins it back, Armstrong puts it behind again.

Foul...

There will be three extra minutes.

A free-kick and yellow card for Garner, who is bemused. I think it's fair enough - he has blocked Savio there.

Gray heads over.

Spurs are working hard here but Everton will deal with these crosses all day, every day.

Gray makes way. Tosin comes on.

Less than five minutes to go.

Calls for Tonali to shoot as he runs onto Robertson's cross but once again Branthwaite is there. Savio then has a go on the follow up but Armstrong heads over his own bar.

Kudus' latest cross is cut out by - you guessed it - Branthwaite. It's all Spurs now - and will be until the close, I think.

A loud cheer from the home fans and it's because James Maddison is getting ready to come on. If anyone can unpick this lock, it's him.

Garner gets back to tackle Tonali now. He has been fantastic today - the best player on the pitch for my money.

Here comes Maddison. Marmoush makes way, so either Savio goes to the left, Kudus to the right, and Maddison behind Tel.
