Last season, he bid farewell to Real Madrid, with all his teammates wearing his number two shirt after the final whistle of his last match. Now Daniel Carvajal has found a new club.
After 13 years at Real Madrid, the six-time Champions League winner is joining Getafe on a free transfer. The LaLiga club has just announced the news in a video on its social media channels.
The defender will now be playing against Real Madrid. There is still a little while to wait before they face each other, though. Getafe will not play Real Madrid until January, with the return fixture taking place in April.
