Man Utd injury latest as Mainoo, Shaw and Sesko updates given for Atletico Madrid clash
· Mirror
Manchester United have a number of injury concerns ahead of their Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday evening
It's back to Champions League action for Manchester United, as they look to put the disappointment of the weekend's game behind them. United had to settle for a point against Tottenham thanks to a stoppage-time equaliser.
It extended United's poor form in the league, with Michael Carrick's side winless in their last four league matches. A strong showing in Spain would silence the doubts surrounding the squad, and could serve as a launchpad for the remainder of the campaign.
However, the weekend's Premier League clash has dealt United a couple of fitness setbacks. With that in mind, here's the latest from the medical room at Old Trafford.
Kobbie Mainoo

The midfielder has been left out of the travelling party for the clash with Atletico.
What Carrick has said: > "They've not travelled, both picked up issues in the game at the weekend so they're out."
Potential return date: Unknown
Luke Shaw
Injury: Unknown
Like Mainoo, Shaw sustained a knock against Spurs and has been ruled out of the trip to Spain.
What Carrick has said: > "They've not travelled, both picked up issues in the game at the weekend so they're out."

Benjamin Sesko
Injury: Shin
The striker was forced to pull out of the Slovenia squad during the international break and has sat out the last two Premier League fixtures after sustaining the issue in the Carabao Cup tie against Brighton last month.
What Carrick has said: > "We're still waiting for a few extra tests. We need to be on top of it. We haven't got a timeframe."
Potential return date: Unknown
Patrick Dorgu
Injury: Thigh
The full-back was substituted during Denmark's Nations League encounter with Wales, and headed back to United for assessment.
What Carrick has said: > "Patrick came off and looks like he'll be out for probably a number of weeks."
Potential return date: Late November/early December
Noussair Mazraoui

Another player who suffered a setback while away on international duty. He had to be withdrawn during Morocco's win over Lesotho and was absent for the weekend's Premier League meeting with Spurs.

Matthijs De Ligt
