The Estadio Ciudad de Valencia hosts the clash between Levante UD and Sevilla FC this Monday, October 12, on Matchday 8 of LaLiga EA Sports. After both battled to avoid relegation last season, they now find themselves on opposite paths: Sevilla have made an excellent start and are firmly in the European qualification places, while the Valencian side head into the match under intense scrutiny in the relegation zone.
Recent history clearly favors Sevilla, who have won seven of the last ten meetings, including a thrilling 3-2 victory in the 2021/22 season with a brace from Tecatito Corona. However, Levante will draw inspiration from last season, when they won 2-0 at home thanks to goals from former Sevilla player Iván Romero. Desperate for points, the 'Granotas' will look to make home advantage count and halt the visitors' impressive run of form.
