It was made all the more remarkable given that Bayern began the game, with Harry Kane passing the ball all the way back to Manuel Neuer from kick-off.
The Germany legend took a heavy touch before trying to dink the ball over the onrushing Fellhauer , but the midfielder anticipated the move and intercepted before rushing forward and tucking home the Bundesliga’s fastest ever goal in under nine seconds.
