Adrien Rabiot scored his second goal of the season with AC Milan with a huge strike, but the Rossoneri only took one point from Sassuolo (1-1) on Sunday in Serie A.

After a mixed international window with the France team (two starts, including a disappointing performance in the first match against Turkey), Adrien Rabiot resumed with AC Milan with a superb goal. The left-handed midfielder sent a heavy cross shot to open the scoring on the hour mark (63rd). His second goal of the season with the Rossoneri.

The team led by Ruben Amorim spoiled this lead immediately by conceding a goal from Dutch defender Cas Odenthal in a set phase (68th). The offensive performance of the Milanese leaves something to be desired with a discreet Christian Pulisic and Gonçalo Ramos unable to finish off a big opportunity. Diego Moreira made differences on the left. In vain.

AC Milan records its third draw in six days (with three victories) and finds itself 5th in Serie A with four points behind the leader, Inter. Sassuolo, with Duje Caleta-Car, Nemanja Matic, Darryl Bakola and Armand Laurienté all starting, is 10th in the Italian rankings
