Barcelona star Lamine Yamal on Saturday hit a frankly remarkable season milestone when it comes to individual production in the final third. This comes owing to his exploits in the Blaugrana’s latest outing.

Hansi Flick’s troops marked their return to action a short time ago, eyeing a 9th win from nine to open the campaign in a La Liga meeting with Getafe.

When all was said and done, this is precisely what the reigning Spanish champions managed, courtesy of a comfortable 3-0 result.

The aforementioned Lamine featured from the off in the matchup, fresh off a dazzling international break in the colours of world champions Spain.

And from his berth on the right flank, the 19-year-old bagged his latest direct goal contribution, laying on Jules Koundé’s clincher inside the closing 20 minutes at the Camp Nou.

Across all competitions for club and country this term, this means that Lamine, incredibly, has now played a direct hand in 20 goals (12G/8A).
