Tottenham midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur was branded 'stupid' by Gary Neville after headbutting Luke Shaw and seeing red against Manchester United .
Bentancur had only been on the pitch for 12 minutes as a second-half substitute, but lost his cool in the 78th minute when he lashed out at Shaw and was given his marching orders.
He appeared to put a high tackle in on the left back, who was left fuming and chased his opponent down before pushing him to the ground.
Bentancur responded by rushing to his feet and headbutting Shaw, resulting in a brawl between the players.
> 'Madness from Bentancur,' Neville said on Sky Sports. 'Lack of discipline is not what he ( Roberto De Zerbi ) needs. > > 'It's stupidity. It really is.'

The Uruguay international had to be pulled away from Shaw, who was booked, by United defender Lisandro Martinez.
A member of Tottenham's coaching staff had to eventually escort him down the Old Trafford tunnel.
Tottenham were already 1-0 down at the time, after dominating the first-half but failing to find the back of the net - a problem they have had regularly this season.
United got their act together in the second period and went 1-0 up through Bryan Mbeumo, and Bentancur's actions made it a near impossible task for Roberto De Zerbi's side to come back.
