The Rayo Vallecano-Athletic Club match has been halted by protests from Rayo fans against their president, Raúl Martín Presa.
Rayo fans have long been furious with their president, and following the graffiti at the match against Cagliari during the break, this Saturday they threw paper planes and small balls onto the pitch.
Ball boys and ground staff spent around ten minutes clearing everything away so the match could resume.
The match restarted with a corner, but objects were then thrown onto the pitch again, and Sánchez Martínez suspended the game.
