Despite the support shown by José Mourinho, Kylian Mbappé is going through a delicate period at Real Madrid. As the Ballon d’Or award approaches, the French striker would, in fact, have the feeling of not being sufficiently supported by his club. While he hopes to land the first major individual award of his career, the perceived lack of support within the White House could add to his frustration.

As reported by Mundo Deportivo this Saturday morning, the Frenchman would have been particularly surprised by the way in which the club managed this period, he who hoped to benefit from clearer support in the race for the Ballon d’Or. Arriving in Madrid with immense ambitions, Mbappé wants to establish himself as the leader of the sporting project and confirm his status among the best players in the world.

Mbappé does not feel supported

Internally, the situation also raises questions about the place given to Mbappé in the collective balance. Between high expectations, competition within the squad and pressure for results, the attacker must find his bearings in an environment where demands are constant. A context which could fuel the feeling of not being fully supported.

However, it should be noted that this discomfort does not necessarily mean a total break with Real Madrid. Mbappé, sent to Liverpool in recent weeks, remains expected to be one of the pillars of the club, and his performance on the pitch will be decisive in dispelling doubts. It remains to be seen whether the Madrid management will be able to provide him with the support he hopes for and prevent this frustration from gaining further momentum. In the meantime, the captain of the Blues will be keen to shine this evening at the Villarreal reception.
