Arsenal Have Already Reached Agreement to Sign Another Dowman in Bartishvili

He will complete his move to the Emirates in 2027

Arsenal have made a huge push to bring some of the best young talent in Europe to the Emirates in recent months, to build on what Max Dowman is already bringing to the first team.

There is no doubt that 16-year-old Dowman is a generational Arsenal talent, and despite his tender years, Mikel Arteta is already taking full advantage of his quality and talent.

Even though he doesn't turn 17 until New Year's Eve, the teenager has already made 15 first-team appearances for the Gunners, scoring three goals.

Two of those came in the EFL Cup win against Ipswich Town last month as Dowman made another major statement to his manager, showing he is ready for even more minutes this season.

Arsenal chiefs have been working on finding more talent who can match what Dowman is doing at the Emirates, and there have been some standout additions across the last two seasons.

The north London outfit agreed a deal to sign the exciting Quintero twin brothers last year, with a number of other promising youngsters joining the club between July and September 2026.

Arsenal's Standout 2026 Academy Signings:

All the aforementioned players are seen as big transfer coups for Arsenal, and they will be particularly delighted to take Upson, Joseph, Scanlon and Ogunneye away from their top six rivals.

Having lost Chido Obi and Ayden Heaven to United previously, they will be particularly hoping that the two former Red Devils are huge successes down in London.

The last player on the list will be the most intriguing because fans will likely know the least about him, but he looks to have a huge future ahead of him.

Arsenal got some good English talent through the door this summer, but perhaps the most anticipated signing will be Bartishvili.

Part of the reason for that will be the success of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia at Napoli, and now Paris Saint-Germain.

The Georgian has become a European superstar and, naturally, there have already been comparisons between Bartishvili and him, with the 17-year-old considered to be the next big thing coming through from the nation.

Arsenal have reached an agreement to sign the teenager in 2027 for a fee worth around £4m to his club, Kolkheti 1913, although he is currently on loan at Iberia 1999, for whom he has played in their Champions League and Europa League qualifying matches.

Bartishvili's Georgia National Team Record

The wonderkid is able to play from the left wing or more centrally behind the striker, which has led to many player comparisons, including Kvaratskhelia.

According to Saba Sapanadze, who originally broke the story of Arsenal agreeing a move for Bartishvili, the youngster will have a first-team contract and train with the first-team when he first arrives at London Colney next year.

Sapanadze gave insight into the attacker's best traits, and believes he is actually more similar to Premier League icon Kevin De Bruyne in terms of style of play, rather than Kvaratskhelia.

> He’s a player who is incredible in one-on-one situations. Extremely technical and intelligent, with outstanding vision and awareness on the pitch.

> “For me, Kvaratskhelia is currently the best player in the world and the No. 1 winger. Obviously, that comparison creates pressure, but stylistically, Khvicha and Andria are very different players.

> “Khvicha is a pure winger, much quicker, with long, powerful strides. Andria operates more centrally, behind the striker, and one of his biggest strengths is his ability to break through midfield from central areas. In terms of style, I’d compare him more to Kevin De Bruyne."

That is obviously a big compliment for Bartishvili, and everything points to the fact that he is going to be a future superstar, as long as he continues on the same career trajectory at Arsenal.

The club themselves will already be dreaming of a future XI that includes both Dowman and Bartishvili alongside each other, with two of the most exciting young players in world football thriving in Arsenal colours.

Arsenal previously showed an interest in signing Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma.
