Man City Eye Man Utd's JJ Gabriel, Abroad Move More Likely

· GiveMeSport

Manchester City show interest in JJ Gabriel from Man Utd as transfer uncertainty looms for the young player.

As it stands, it's unclear how the charges placed against Manchester City, which they have now been found guilty of , are going to impact their transfer business in the near future.

There is a chance that the Manchester club are given a transfer ban, which would, of course, impact their ability to bring in new additions.

Whether that will stop them from signing players like Gabriel, due to him being a youth player, remains to be seen.

The United youngster looks set to leave the club after he informed United that he wants to be deregistered.

A number of clubs are showing an interest in signing the talented youngster, which could leave United only receiving a small compensation fee.

According to a report from journalist Luckhurst, Manchester City haven't ruled out making a move to sign Gabriel from their rivals .

Despite that, the reporter claims that Manchester do expect the 15-year-old to move abroad rather than remain in the Premier League.

It certainly wouldn't be a good look for United if Gabriel does make the move across Manchester, but due to his current situation, it's something they'd have little say in.

Losing Gabriel would be a huge blow for United, and the report does claim that the Red Devils expect him to head through the exit door.

Unfortunately, due to his age, United won't receive a fee that is in line with his potential, as he has not signed a professional contract yet.

As mentioned, it will be a huge blow for United to lose a player as talented as Gabriel.

Losing him to their Manchester rivals would be an even bigger blow, and it would certainly soften the disappointment if he moved abroad instead.

There are certainly no guarantees that Gabriel becomes the player many expect him to, as we've seen so many youngsters fall by the wayside over the years.

United clearly feel that he's not going to be one of those, and so do clubs such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Man City, who have all shown an interest in securing his signature.

Gabriel remaining at Old Trafford certainly feels unlikely, and it doesn't appear like there's a strong chance he'll be heading into the Etihad Stadium either.
