Man Utd Have Just Agreed Deal to Sign Isaac Konde From Liverpool

Isaac Konde joins Manchester United from Liverpool, drawing Nani comparisons as a promising winger.

Manchester United may have just signed the next Nani in Isaac Konde after his move from Liverpool , with one of his former coaches revealing all on the talented youngster.

Since INEOS arrived at United, they've heavily focused their recruitment on bringing in young talent from around the world.

The likes of Diego Leon, Chido Obi, and Ayden Heaven arrived for minimal fees, with the hope that they will eventually make United huge profits or play regularly for the first team.

That continued in the summer transfer window, with Konde, Karim Cassim, David Eze, and Tynan Thompson all joining the club from Premier League rivals.

United supporters might not see the benefits of these additions for the long term, but it's still a smart transfer strategy from the club.

Manchester United's owners, INEOS, have been criticised heavily lately, with fans setting up protests.

United have now confirmed the signing of Konde from Liverpool with the 16-year-old signing a one-year scholarship followed by a five-year professional contract.

The two Premier League clubs are now in talks over a compensation package, with Liverpool expecting to receive a fee that will reach £1m.

Although United might not see Konde in action too much in the next few years, he's a player they can be excited about in the future.

One of Konde's former coaches, speaking to The Athletic, has compared Konde to former winger Nani , giving United fans a taster of what he could be about.

> “He’s fast, direct and a very exciting prospect, an off-the-shoulder winger. He’s from a very humble family. He looks like a Manchester United-type player, who reminds me of Nani or Wilfried Zaha. But you might not see the best of him for six months as he hasn’t been able to play. It’ll take him time to get fit, he looks young for his age, but he’s already giving good numbers. Wait until he fills into his body.”

Nani might not have been the most successful winger United have seen over the years, but he was certainly one of the most entertaining.

If Konde can get to the level where he has as many appearances for United as Nani did, it will go down as a successful addition, especially on the cheap.

As confirmed by The Athletic, United are set to pay a fee which could reach £1m. If Konde's career somehow goes down the pan, United have barely lost anything in football terms.

The youngster will be on low wages too, so it's a low-risk, high-reward investment which could make them 10's of millions in the future.

If you invest in five players at a similar figure, only one of those needs to work out in order for United to make a healthy profit.

In reality, considering how highly rated some of their new additions are, you'd imagine a large number of them will go on to have strong careers in the game, and as a result, make United a lot of money.
