Arsenal: Kai Havertz Injury With Germany 'Not Serious'

Arsenal forward Kai Havertz suffered a hamstring injury while on international duty with Germany, and David Ornstein has provided an update on the situation.
Havertz started for Jurgen Klopp's side as they drew with the Netherlands in the Nations League on Thursday evening.
The 27-year-old was forced off in the first half, with Klopp speaking on the situation after the game.
> “At the moment both [Havertz and Jamal Musiala] are on the MRI (scans). I hope we get the diagnosis tonight. But of course that’s not great now. I hope this is just nothing bad. The boys are probably out for us. But hopefully then also relatively quickly available again.”
Losing Havertz for an extended period would be a crucial blow for Mikel Arteta. Given the struggles that Viktor Gyokeres has endured since joining the club, Arteta could do with Havertz firing on all cylinders, and that requires him to remain fit.
Reporting on Friday morning, Ornstein has confirmed that it's believed Havertz's injury is 'not serious' , but he is set to leave Germany's international camp.
Klopp confirmed after the game that Havertz was likely to miss the remainder of the international break, which Ornstein has now confirmed.
It's hugely positive news for the Gunners that the injury isn't deemed to be serious, and with it still being a few weeks before Arsenal play again, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him return in October.
