Premier League RECAP: All the reaction as toothless Spurs hold Nottingham Forest to goalless draw, Erling Haaland strikes again for Man City - and it's a great day for Crystal Palace left-backs!

Relive Daily Mail Sport's live coverage as Newcastle were held to a draw by Bournemouth, plus every goal, score and major update from the five 3pm kick-offs.

Another Premier League weekend passes, another Erling Haaland rescue mission.

The Norwegian's goal was the difference in Manchester this afternoon, while Gigi Donnarumma was also crucial between the sticks after managing to recover from what could have been a disastrous mistake early on.

The first signs of life were visible at Coventry City, though, and there's something there for Frank Lampard to build on now. Toppling Enzo Maresca's side was just one challenge too many.

Elsewhere around the grounds, boos were ringing out around Craven Cottage after a third consecutive defeat for Fulham against Crystal Palace. Tottenham managed their first point in the Premier League this season, Sunderland snatched a late draw against Brentford, and Brighton were also held by Leeds.

That's us done for today. Thanks so much for joining us, and we'll catch you soon!

Thomas Tuchel was among the onlookers here at Craven Cottage. One assumed it was to cast an eye on Adam Wharton.

Wharton is a Rolls-Royce of a player. He runs Palace's midfield. But this was not his best game.

It was his failure to deal with a cross that led to Fulham's opener. Wharton appeared a little off it physically at times, beaten in footraces on several occasions.

But if Tuchel may have been underwhelmed with what he saw of Wharton, he will have been thrilled with King's display.

The 19-year-old opened the scoring – albeit with the help of a big deflection – after showing some tidy footwork on the edge of the box.

The teenager has long been regarded as an extraordinary talent at Fulham, but his game appears to have gone up a notch this season.

King was said to have impressed England coaching staff when away at the Three Lions' pre-World Cup camp in the US. He certainly will have impressed Tuchel today.
