Good afternoon!

Hello one and all and welcome to our coverage of what should be a cracker in the North East between Newcastle and Hull in the Premier League!

The visitors represent no doubt the story of the season. Hull are - against all odds - unbeaten in their four games thus far this campaign, claiming victory against Man Utd and Coventry whilst also taking a point from clashes Aston Villa and Chelsea.

Their fifth and final game before the three-week international break takes them to St James' Park. Getting to October unbeaten would be a feat that could not be overestimated for the newly promoted Yorkshiremen - and one almost no one outside of Hull could have seen coming.

They face a Newcastle side reeling from a humbling 4-1 defeat to Leeds at Elland Road on Monday, which halted an otherwise faultless start for new head coach Matthias Jaissle and handed him his first taste of defeat in English football.

“Really important, first of all, to show the right reaction after the Leeds match,” Jaissle said.

> “This is something we discussed now during the last days. We have fully aligned and fully committed to show in front of our fans a clear reaction."

A crucial early season clash in the Premier League awaits - stay tuned for live commentary and updates throughout, starting with team news at 1:45pm!
