Eight rounds of 2026-27 Serie A fixtures have now been played, and for the first time in the history of the division, there are still four teams unbeaten at the top of the standings in Inter, Lazio, Roma and Milan.
This is the first time in Serie A history that four teams have gone eight matches unbeaten at the start of a new season.
Reigning champions Inter lead the way with 22 points from their first eight games of the season. They have won seven of their first eight games of the season and have only dropped points once in the league so far: In a 2-2 draw away against Roma in September.
Lazio are level on points with Inter, again with seven wins and one draw: A 2-2 against Milan back in September.
Their rivals Roma sit four points behind them in third place on 18 points with five wins and three draws on their record so far. They are level on points with Milan, currently in fourth, who have posted the same set of results so far.
