Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho has put into place strict rules regarding timeliness for the club’s morning training sessions thus far this season.
That’s according to The Athletic, who have this weekend provided an insight into the situation behind the scenes in Spain’s capital.
Iconic tactician Mourinho was of course brought back to the Santiago Bernabéu this past summer, with a view to get the vast array of egos in the Real Madrid dressing room in check.
The Portuguese, in turn, has set about implementing a number of new rules and guidelines for his star-studded squad, with a view to ultimately breaking the chokehold of arch rivals Barcelona on Spanish football.
One such rule drawn up by Mourinho has today been revealed, and surrounds morning training sessions at Valdebebas. As per a report from The Athletic:
> ‘Players are required to arrive at the training ground between one and a half and two hours before each session, and they must have breakfast together there.’
