Lazio have a huge opportunity to consolidate their joint Serie A leadership, as they keep to the same side that crushed Juventus 3-0 when hosting Alberto Gilardino’s Parma.

It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome at 19.45 UK time (20.45 CEST).

Gennaro Gattuso and Lazio have been truly the surprise outfit of the Serie A season so far, sitting joint top of the table with Inter, still unbeaten, and fresh from a 3-0 humiliation of Juventus in Turin.

The usual injuries remain, so Albert Gudmundsson, Nicolò Rovella and Adam Marusic out of action, but Kenneth Taylor has shaken off a knock and Matteo Cancellieri recovers for a spot on the bench.

Tijjani Noslin is again preferred to Andrea Pinamonti upfront, flanked by Gustav Isaksen and Mattia Zaccagni.

Parma dismissed Carlos Cuesta after a difficult start to the season and brought in Alberto Gilardino, but he lost both games 3-0 to Inter and Torino.

Striker Nesta Elphege had surgery for appendicitis and is therefore resting at home, with Pontus Almqvist and Hans Nicolussi Caviglia long-term absentees.

El-Bilal Touré partners David Romero upfront, leaving teenage talent Simone Lontani on the bench.
