Barcelona brought in both Karim Adeyemi and Anthony Gordon during the summer transfer window and the two forwards have been enjoying life with Hansi Flick’s side since signing for the Catalans.

Both players are known for their pace but who is the fastest? Adeyemi thinks if it came down to it he would beat the England international in a race.

> “Anthony (Gordon) is probably the second-fastest player… I’d definitely beat him,” he told a Barcelona Q&A.

Adeyemi also spoke about his relationship with Flick and said the Barcelona boss is a big reason why he moved to Camp Nou this summer.

> “He’s the reason why I’m here, and I’m very grateful to him for that. I speak honestly with him, and that’s very important. We have a special connection, just as he does with the whole team,” he added.

Adeyemi also revealed what Flick told him after he had signed “That I should enjoy every training session, the atmosphere within the team, Barcelona, the Catalan people… that was the first thing he taught me.”

The new signing is now hoping he can make an impact on Sunday in El Clasico. Asked for his favorite moment at Barca so far, he said: “Scoring my first goal at home, against Feyenoord… but I hope I’ll have an even better one on Sunday.”
