According to SPORT , Barcelona are targeting another El Clasico ticket revenue record as demand for Sunday’s meeting with Real Madrid at the Spotify Camp Nou leaves very few seats available.
The Blaugrana host their bitter rivals at Camp Nou on Sunday night in the first Clasico of the 2026/27 season, aiming to extend their winning start in La Liga.
Prices skyrocket
The demand for El Clasico has once again underlined the fixture’s enormous commercial value to Barcelona. Tickets went on sale on 29 September, with prices changing according to availability and demand.
The cheapest tickets were initially available for approximately €299 to €640, but the remaining standard seats have become considerably more expensive.
Current prices range from €1,249 for a seat in Gol 2 Superior to €2,099 in Tribuna 1 Central stands.
VIP hospitality options command even higher prices. Available packages range from €2,400 for Balcony Gol to €8,000 for a Pitch Row Lateral Central seat.
These prices reflect the extraordinary interest in one of football’s biggest fixtures.
Barcelona aim to surpass €16.4 million El Clasico record
Barcelona generated €16.4 million in ticket revenue from the 10 May meeting with Real Madrid at the Spotify Camp Nou last season, according to figures subsequently disclosed by then-director general Manel del Río.
That match saw Barcelona defeat their rivals and secure the La Liga title, adding an extra layer of significance for supporters.
The revenue surpassed the €13.9 million recorded for the previous season’s corresponding fixture at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys in Montjuic.
This time, the attraction includes Jose Mourinho’s return to the Spotify Camp Nou, Barcelona’s strong form and the enduring appeal of the rivalry.
Those factors, combined with high ticket prices and the availability of premium hospitality packages, give the club reason to believe another milestone could be within reach.
The stadium has yet to return to its full capacity because of ongoing renovation work. Even so, the combination of limited availability and expensive remaining seats could help Barcelona generate unprecedented matchday income from the fixture.
Barcelona will be hoping to secure a victory on the pitch while also capitalising on the huge commercial demand surrounding El Clasico to surpass the €16.4 million revenue generated in last season’s fixture.
