The board at La Liga champions Barcelona have left the door open to proposals for a leading member of the club’s defensive ranks.
That’s according to Diario Sport , who highlight Jules Koundé as the Blaugrana star in question.
Stopper Koundé is for his part in the midst of what has been a challenging opening to the new campaign. After losing starter status to Eric García last season, the former Sevilla man is yet to rediscover his best form.
Koundé has long been singled out for criticism for his shortcomings on the defensive side of the ball, with his lapses in concentration a constant concern for Hansi Flick and his staff.
For this reason, despite Koundé’s professionalism and attitude having never come into question, the 27-year-old’s sale has not been ruled out by the Camp Nou brass.
As per a report from Sport:
> ‘The club does not rule out listening to and studying a possible offer internally if a really important economic proposal arrives, which is close to the valuation that the entity makes of the player.’
