Man Utd React as 'Embarrassing' Footage From Before Match vs Sabah Sparks Outrage

Man Utd have spoken out after being called out over the footage.
Manchester United got their Champions League campaign off to a winning start when they beat FC Sabah at Old Trafford last week.
The Red Devils were expected to easily overcome the Azerbaijani side and that's what they did as they picked up a comfortable victory.
Matheus Cunha, Bruno Fernandes and Benjamin Sesko all found the back of the net in the first half as Michael Carrick's side went into the break with a three-goal lead.
Lisandro Martinez added a fourth midway through the second half and there were no further goals as United , considered a contender to win Europe's most prestigious cup competition this season , triumphed 4-0.
While United fans were happy with how their side performed on the pitch against FC Sabah, footage taken before the match has now spread on social media and sparked outrage.
TNT posted footage of United full-back Noussair Mazraoui speaking to reporter Olivia Buzaglo as he made his way into the stadium. Some of his teammates could be seen in the background.
United fans could be seen on both sides of the walkway. On one side, there were hundreds of United fans who had queued for hours in the hope they could catch a glimpse of their heroes. A small number of VIPs that had paid for the privilege were on the opposite side.
Several United players, including Martinez, Cunha and Sesko, could be seen interacting with those that had paid and ignoring the fans on the other side that had queued for hours.
Many United fans have condemned the footage. Some have even accused the 21-time English champions of instructing their players to only shake hands with the paying VIPs behind the rope.
The Red Devils have denied these accusations. BBC journalist Simon Stone wrote on X:
> "Accusations [that] Man Utd are telling players to stop for VIPs on arrival at Old Trafford ahead of games being rejected by [the] club. Say players don't have as much time to stop pre-match now due to changed arrival times but that many players (and also Carrick) pose for selfies etc when they leave."
Man United are in action on Wednesday evening as they take on high-flying Brighton & Hove Albion in the Carabao Cup third round.
The Red Devils then travel to Craven Cottage on Sunday evening to take on Fulham. United are currently 13th in the Premier League, having picked up just four points from their opening four matches.
A three-week break follows, with United returning to action on October 10 when they welcome struggling Tottenham Hotspur to Old Trafford.
