Even after years of producing world-class performances, Manuel Neuer continues to leave opponents wondering how he does it.

Following Bayern Munich’s 2–2 draw with Arsenal, Bruno Guimarães was left stunned by the Bayern goalkeeper’s incredible save to deny his header. The Arsenal midfielder admitted he was already celebrating before Neuer somehow kept the ball ou t.

> “Unbelievable save. I was already celebrating,” said Guimarães (as captured by @iMiaS anMia ). “When the game finished, I came to him and said, ‘How did you save that?'”

That reaction says it all. Neuer’s ability to make seemingly im possible saves remains one of his greatest qualities, combining extraordinary reflexes, positioning, and composure under pressure.

Although Bayern were unable to secure the victory against Arsenal, their captain once again demonstrated why he is consider ed one of the greatest goalkeepers of his generation.

When even the opposition is left asking how you made the save, you know you’ve done something special.
