Speaking ahead of Bayer Leverkusen’s UEFA Europa League clash against OFI Crete on Thursday, Jarell Quansah dodged questions about his future, amid interest from Liverpool, Arsenal and Real Madrid.
> “I just have to concentrate on playing this season,” he explained. “I’m playing as many games as possible and trying to improve – I can’t do more than that.”
According to Sky Germany , Liverpool hold a reported €70m buy-back clause for the Englishman, which will become active in 2027 after the €70m option expired. However, the Reds also face competition from Arsenal, who have been without William Saliba this season due to a back injury – which has kept him out since the end of France’s World Cup campaign – and Real Madrid.
Holding a market value of €50m, per Transfermarkt , Quansah has featured in eight of Leverkusen’s nine games across all competitions this season, starting five of them.
