Fears over Khvicha Kvaratskhelia have been confirmed. After a collision with Barcelona full-back Xavi Espart on Tuesday night in the Champions League, the Paris Saint-Germain winger has suffered a serious knee injury.
In a medical update released on Wednesday morning, the Parisian club announced that the Georgian suffered "a t ear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee" during the match against FC Barcelona. He will undergo surgery in the coming days.
The diagnosis is less severe for Ousmane Dembélé and Marquinhos, who both have thigh injuries. PSG confirmed that both players sustained injuries in that area.
