After their disappointing recent performances, the objective against Sabah in Azerbaijan was clear: a win was a must today—and ideally a convincing one. But so far, things haven't gone quite as hoped.

After 45 minutes, the score is just 1–1. BVB took an early lead through Guirassy, but the underdogs from the Caspian Sea equalised from a corner shortly before half-time.

And that goal didn't come entirely out of nowhere, either. Although Dortmund have been the slightly better side, Sabah also had a few good chances in the first half against a BVB side that looked shaky at times.

It remains to be seen whether Borussia Dortmund can turn things around in the second half or slide deeper into crisis. Following the defeat at Bodø/Glimt and the draw in Berlin, the mood has been tense lately.
