According to a report from Abendzeitung journalist Maximilian Koch , Bayern Munich has received encouraging news ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League showdown against Arsenal. Manuel Neuer participated in the final training session, and Joshua Kimmich is expected to be available despite missing practice.

Kimmich missed the session for private reasons, but he is expected to be fit to face Arsenal tomorrow. His availability would be a major boost for Vincent Kompany’s side, as the German international is expected to play a crucial role in Bayern Munich’s attempt to control the midfield against Declan Rice and Arsenal’s talented engine room.

Meanwhile, Neuer’s participation in the final training session increases the likelihood that Bayern Munich’s captain will start against the Gunners. The veteran goalkeeper recently returned to team training and was scheduled to undergo a final fitness assessment. His presence on the pitch is an encouraging sign as Bayern Munich prepares for one of its biggest tests of the season.

There is still a question mark over Kompany himself. The Bayern Munich head coach was advised to rest due to a viral infection, leaving assistant coach Aaron Danks to lead the session.

With kickoff approaching, Bayern Munich will be hoping for positive news on all fronts. Having Neuer between the posts and Kimmich available in midfield would provide valuable expe rience and leadership against an Arsenal side expected to test them in every dep artment.

The signs are encouraging for Bayern Munich, but final confirmation will likely come later on Tuesday.
