Roberto De Zerbi, Tottenham boss, speaking ahead of the game:

> I didn't think Tottenham could fall any lower than last season, after needing final-day heroics to keep them in the Premier League.

Well, their start to the season suggests otherwise.

Despite slapping serious money on a new-look squad, including the £100million signing of midfielder Sandro Tonali and £85m fees for Savio and Mateus Fernandes, Roberto De Zerbi are managing to drop even further down the table than they have in the last two terms.

Tottenham are currently sitting rock bottom of the Premier League without a single win to their name. It's mid-to-late October; it's simply not good enough for a club of their stature.

Now, they looked better in their draw against Manchester United, earning a late point despite going down to 10 men. But they still need that victory to get them off the foot of the table.

If they do win tonight, they will climb out of the relegation zone onto six points and will be level with tonight's visitors, Coventry.

It's a massive evening for De Zerbi and his team.

It's been one hell of a few days in the Premier League, eh? In fact, its been a pretty mental past week in the sport as a whole; let's be real. The Champions League was even crazier.

We saw plenty of drama in the top flight over the weekend....

Four red cards, comebacks, VAR drama, penalties, and late winners. It's had it all. Just one more game to go here tonight to put the cherry on top of an entertaining few days.

Here are the results from matchday seven, so far:

SATURDAY

SUNDAY

MONDAY

Is today finally the day?

After two months, six games, over 550 minutes, three draws, and three losses in the 2026-27 Premier League season, will we finally see Tottenham Hotspur win a match?

Well, it feels like this is as good an opportunity as Roberto De Zerbi's side will get to halt their randcid start to the campaign for a while.

Coventry City at home. Surely today is the day?

Well, as Spurs fans well know, playing at home is not an advantage for them these days. In fact, they are miles worse here. Oh yeah, and Coventry are actually in some good form at last; they have won their last two league fixtures after an initial horror return to the league.

So while it may seem like the perfect fixture on paper for De Zerbi and Co to stop the rot, this will be far from plainsailing.

But anyway, it's Monday night under the lights at this beauty of a stadium... it's going to be fun whatever happens.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
