OGC Nice is regaining color and now occupies eleventh place in Ligue 1 before traveling to Olympique Lyonnais at Groupama Stadium. Guest of Téléfoot this Sunday morning, Jonathan Clauss returned to the new dynamics of the Riviera club, driven by the arrival of several players and new staff.

> “We have new players, we have new staff. We have a new energy that has been created. Now it’s up to us to maintain it. We aim for better than maintaining”

affirmed the right-back, determined to see Nice continue its progress after a complicated start to the season.

The former Marseille player also spoke of his ambitions in the French team, while Zinédine Zidane took charge of the Blues. Chambered by his teammates about the report of Téléfootwho asked him if the new coach was aware, Clauss did not close the door to a return to the selection.

> “Maybe he watches Téléfoot on Sundays. Zidane is talked about everywhere, even when we’re at the physiotherapist. Have I drawn a line under the French team? No, never. It stays in the back of my mind. As long as I’m a footballer, I’ll be ready. Otherwise, I would have retired already”

he assured. Despite significant competition in his position, notably with Pierre Kalulu, Malo Gusto and Jules Koundé, the Niçois therefore remains hopeful of one day regaining the blue jersey.
