It came in the middle of a six-minute flurry of goals for Brighton, as they took apart their bitter rivals inside the opening 10 minutes at the Amex Stadium. A victory looks set to move the Seagulls up to second in the Premier League, behind Manchester City - who are unbeaten but in limbo after being found guilty of rule breaks.
