Serie A line-ups: Venezia vs. Napoli

· FootballItalia

Napoli look to Lorenzo Lucca, Scott McTominay and Giovane amid an injury crisis, while Venezia...

It kicks off at the Stadio Pierluigi Penzo at 14.00 UK time (15.00 CEST).

This has been a rough few days for both these clubs, as Napoli suffered yet more injuries and a 3-1 Champions League loss to Villarreal , while Venezia fired Giovanni Stroppa after losing all six Serie A matches.

David Neres joined Antonio Vergara, Costantino Favasuli and Alessandro Buongiorno on the treatment table, with Alisson Santos, Mathias Olivera and Frank Zambo Anguissa only fit for the bench.

With exhaustion piling up from that midweek Champions League defeat, Rasmus Hojlund and Kevin De Bruyne are rested in favour of Lucca and Giovane, moving McTominay into a more advanced role.

Venezia debut under new coach Nicola , having lost all six Serie A matches so far this season with Stroppa.

They have a lengthy absentee list too, including Armel Bella-Kotchap, Marin Sverko, Bartol Franjic, Thierry Correia and Andrea Adorante, while former Napoli man Pasquale Mazzocchi is not fully fit either.

Juan Jesus comes face to face with his former club already.

Akor Adams and John Yeboah lead the attack, but the problems are in defence, conceding 16 goals in seven games.
